Reviews for TORTILLERIA DE PUEBLA
Review highlights
Based on 869 reviewsTORTILLERIA DE PUEBLA is widely praised for its authentic Mexican cuisine, with many customers highlighting the freshly made in-house tortillas and robust flavors of dishes such as mole enchiladas, tacos, and menudo. The restaurant’s straightforward, no-frills approach combined with quality ingredients and traditional preparation methods resonates well with patrons. The salsa and chips receive consistent compliments for their spiciness and freshness. While some find certain items like tamales a bit dry, the overall food quality and authenticity remain strong selling points. Additionally, attentive and friendly service is frequently noted, contributing to a positive dining experience despite the modest exterior and busy atmosphere.
I know this place looks busted on the outside, but you absolutely need to give it a chance. I would specifically recommend the mole enchiladas. And get them for takeout because they make tortillas in-house and it is LOUD. I had the mole enchiladas and my bro had the red pork tamales, which were also good. Tamales were a bit dry for my taste, but they give you salsa and I would maybe add Mexican sour cream. Also recommend paying cash as they add a 4% card fee.
I loved this place! Food was amazing, so was the service! The chips and salsa were top notch and had amazing flavor! The homemade tortillas were great! We had burritos, tacos, and gorditas! All of it was amazing! I really wish we had a place like this in Colorado! Oh and the one server running the whole floor was super nice and on top of all the tables! Never seen someone hustle like that! Will be back here for sure next time I am out visiting!
Without a doubt, the best Mexican restaurant in Tulsa. No frills, no problems, just good ingredients (I mean, look at that radish, pepper and lime), cooked well (for a long time), nice people and incredible tacos. The #1, no doubt, no question.
Very good authentic food. The salsa is nice and spicy the sauce is great. I loved the tacos as well. I will definitely come back here. I was also told the Tamales were the best around so I will have to come back to try them.
Love this place, best menudo in town. Tacos are always good too! The horchata is awesome as well.
Great Mexican food! The chips are super fresh and the salsa is actually very spicy. I got the 4 enchilada combo for 10, for the price you pay it’s a ton of food. 1000% recommend. You have to try this.
Tortillas hot off the presses! This place is a steal! 1.60 for a big stack of warm tortillas to take home, and 5 for 4 tacos and a drink while you're here. It was fast and fresh, the meat was not the most flavorful but the sauces have some real bite! I recommend a little of each on your tacos and you won't leave disappointed.
The best, authentic Mexican food we’ve had in Oklahoma since we moved here 3 years ago from Texas. Texans visiting Tulsa,Oklahoma this is a must stop it’s the best Tulsa has to offer that we’ve had so far. The green sauce has a nice heat to it BUT the red sauce is REALLY, REALLY HOT.
